In some ways I think that Bible verse he wrote on his face should be comforting. Jesus overcame the world, Tim Tebow, this too shall pass. I think if memory serves this quote from Jesus also reflects his own imminent death and how the world will turn on those who followed him. Is there a sermon here? I don’t know, but the cheerleaders in my high school used to paint words on their faces as well. Not saying that Tebow is a girl. I hear he plays a mean foot-ball.
